Thu 28 Feb, 06:45 PM

Grimsby are confident the second leg of their Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Final against Morecambe will be a Blundell Park sell-out.The Mariners clinched a 1-0 win at Christie Park in Tuesday night's first leg thanks to Paul Bolland's solitary second-half strike.

Grimsby's account manager Steve Wraith told the club's official website: "The whole town has waited for the first leg to be played before they purchase their tickets for the second leg.

"The ticket office has been flat out and the phones have been in meltdown."

Club chairman John Fenty added: "It would be wonderful if it were a sell-out. We've already had a huge demand for tickets and people are having to be patient because the phone lines are so busy.

"We're one game away from Wembley and everyone seems to be getting behind us."
