Carlisle United manager John Ward has won the League One Manager of the Month award for February after four wins and a draw from five matches.The Cumbrians have been the form side throughout February, remaining unbeaten in League One. Ward's side began the month with a victory over Walsall followed by an away draw at Port Vale. Carlisle then beat Huddersfield Town before a superb home win over high-flying Doncaster Rovers at Brunton Park. Three points away to Crewe Alexandra ensured the Cumbrians finished the month in the automatic promotion places in League One.

Also short-listed for the February award were Paul Trollope of Bristol Rovers, Steve Tilson of Southend United and Swansea City's Roberto Martinez.

Chris Kamara said: "Carlisle overcame a difficult period at the start of the year to bounce back with a fine run of results in February. Four wins from five games this month has taken the Cumbrians back into the automatic promotion places in League One."
