Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is to hold talks with veteran striker Dougie Freedman amid reports linking him with a move to Leeds. The 33-year-old has been used sparingly by Warnock this season, but enjoys his dual role of coaching the reserves at Selhurst Park.
However, Leeds boss Gary McAllister is thought to be keen on taking his fellow Scot to Elland Road to enhance his side's League One promotion bid, leaving Warnock eager to discuss Freedman's future.
"We will have a chat, but I can't say any more until I've spoken to the player," said Warnock.
