Ivory Coast striker Bakary Kone has spoke of his desire to secure a move from Nice to a top English club.
Kone is top scorer for the south coast club in Ligue 1 this season, with nine goals in 19 games.
But the 26-year-old is a big fan of the Premier League, and hopes to follow in the footsteps of several international team-mates.
"The Premier League is the most exciting league," Kone told skysports.com.
"Every player in the world dreams of playing in that league, with the big crowds and the coverage it gets around the globe.
"When I was growing up it was all about the French league but today people talk of (Didier) Drogba, (Abdoulaye) Meite, (Didier) Zokora, (Salomon) Kalou. I really want to be part of that.
Although just 5ft 4in, Kone believes he can make up for a lack of height with his technical ability.
"I am very fast and technically very good. All the players in the Premier League have those qualities so I can make a name for myself."
Kone scored once in four substitute appearances at this year's African Nations Cup, and hopes he has captured the attention of one of the big clubs in England.
Asked what teams he likes, Kone said: "Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all good teams, even Portsmouth, and West Ham are not bad."
