Midfield duo return for Baggies

Fri 28 Mar, 12:15 PM

West Brom should welcome back Chris Brunt and James Morrison back into their squad for Saturday's clash with Colchester at The Hawthorns. Both players have missed the last two matches with the respective hamstring and ankle injuries they suffered against Crystal Palace earlier this month.

The pair have resumed training, and Albion manager Tony Mowbray said: "We are very hopeful of having them both back in contention for the weekend."

Ishmael Miller is also expected to be involved despite withdrawing from the England Under-21 squad this week with a groin problem.

Neil Clement will be added to the squad after being recalled from his loan spell at Hull. That is because fellow defender Leon Barnett is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

On-loan striker Luke Moore serves the second game of a three-match suspension while Bartosz Slusarski, who was on the bench for the Good Friday draw at Charlton, has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan.
