No new problems for Shrimpers

Southend manager Steve Tilson has no new injury or suspension problems to contend with for the visit of play-off rivals Walsall on Saturday.The Shrimpers have forged an eight-game unbeaten streak to wedge themselves in the play-off pack and face a Saddlers side winless in their last five outings.

Striker Alex Revell returned to action for the reserves after recovering from a hernia injury but is not expected to be deemed fit enough to resume first-team duties just yet.

Midfield duo Nick Bailey and Charlie Mulgrew suffered no ill-effects over the Easter period after returning from hamstring injuries and should continue in the side while Hal Robson-Kanu is again hoping to get the nod in attack.

Defender Che Wilson will not feature again this season after suffering an Achilles injury.
