Paul Reid is in line to make his second debut for Carlisle when they travel to Priestfield to take on Gillingham after re-joining the club. The defender, who started his career at Brunton Park, re-joined the Cumbrians on loan from Barnsley on Thursday and could feature against the struggling Gills.
Carlisle are arguably League One's form team at the moment and go into the game at Priestfield unbeaten in their last 11 games.
Attacking duo Scott Dobie and Danny Carlton are pushing for starts but manager John Ward is still without midfielder Jeff Smith (ankle), striker Joe Garner (knee) and captain Paul Thirlwell (ankle).
Smith is expected to be missing for another month while Ward expects to have Thirlwell back at his disposal for the final few games of the season.
Victory over the Gills could see Ward's men close the gap on leaders Swansea to just two points.
