Luton manager Mick Harford could have Northern Ireland international Steve Robinson back to face Crewe but has lost captain Chris Perry.Robinson has missed the last four games through illness and injury but played 45 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday night and could feature.
However, Perry has joined Championship strugglers Southampton on loan until the end of the season.
Richard Langley also played half an hour for the second string and could return from his broken leg before the end of the season.
Harford said: "Langley has been out for six months and these things take eight or nine. He is quite a long way away at the moment."
Striker Drew Talbot is out and is due to have an exploratory operation on his leg injury, while Paul Furlong is out with his knee problem.
Back-up goalkeeper Marlon Beresford is also back in the squad after recovering from his shoulder injury.
