Brentford manager Andy Scott could have midfielder Gary Smith back in his squad when they take on Rochdale at Griffin Park on Saturday.Smith missed the 2-1 win over Grimsby on Monday after suffering a blow to the ribs but is back in training and is confident of being fit to face Dale.

However, John Mousinho impressed in his place against the Mariners and could keep his place as the Bees seek a win to keep alive their fading play-off hopes.

Defender Matt Heywood was an unused substitute in the win at Blundell Park after seven games out with a rib injury of his own and could be called back into the starting line-up.

Striker Ross Montague is still out with a back injury but is Scott's only definite absentee.
