Hull boss Phil Brown will give Ian Ashbee until the last possible moment to prove his fitness before Saturday's KC Stadium clash with Watford.Ashbee sustained a foot injury in last Saturday's 2-0 win over Leicester but Brown will hope the 31-year-old is passed fit to continue.

If Ashbee is forced to miss out against the Hornets then Simon Walton may deputise, while defender Wayne Brown could also be available for selection after overcoming a calf injury.

Striker Craig Fagan may return after overcoming a ligament problem, but Nick Barmby (groin) remains sidelined and Neil Clement has been recalled from his loan spell by West Brom.

Caleb Folan is also pushing to start after coming off the bench to score in each of his last two appearances.

The Tigers go into the game bidding to clinch a fourth straight home win.
