Ferdy Murphy is keeping an eye on the weather before deciding whether to run Cheltenham Festival winner Naiad Du Misselot at Aintree next week.
The Coral Cup victor holds entries in the John Smith's Liverpool Hurdle over an extended three miles and the two-and-a-half-mile John Smith's Handicap Hurdle, both run on Thursday.
"We're just going to have a look at it. We're not sure which way we are going to go," said the West Witton trainer.
"He could go to Punchestown next month but we've put him in a couple of races at Aintree.
"He's a good, tough, little horse but the ground may be on the lively side for him at Aintree. We are playing it by ear at the moment.
"It is possible that the ground might come in his favour and that he might not get it at Punchestown, so no decision will be made until nearer the time."
The Grade One Liverpool Hurdle has attracted a star-studded entry, headed by triple World Hurdle hero Inglis Drever.
Ballyfitz, Black Jack Ketchum, Blazing Bailey, Faasel, Gaspara and Lough Derg also figure in an 18-strong field.
