There was no change at the top of the standings after the fourth stage of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali, with Cadel Evans leading going into the final stage.

Australian Evans, riding for Silence-Lotto, holds a 23-second lead over Stefano Garzelli, with fellow Italian Vincenzo Nibali a further 56 seconds back in third.

Evans soared to the top of the general classification on Thursday with a superb solo attack on a climb.
