Sol Campbell has admitted he can do little to stop speculation about a move away from Portsmouth, with Villarreal reportedly interested.The veteran defender has regularly been linked with a move abroad and has just one year left to run on his Pompey contract.

Campbell has had another impressive season, helping Pompey to the FA Cup final and seventh in the Premier League.

He is staying focused on Portsmouth but has refused to rule out a switch to Villarreal.

"If people are interested in me, people are interested," Campbell said in The Sun.

"I cannot do anything about it."
