Millwall striker Neil Harris has thanked the fans for the reception he received during the club's win over Carlisle which secured their safety.Harris played a vital part in the game, scoring an important second goal, and creating two in a 3-0 demolition of the play-off hopefuls.

The 30-year-old is unsure on his long-term future with the Lions but told the South London Press: "The reception I got was fantastic, they cheered me even when I was tripping over the ball and forgetting how to play.

"I thought I might have been a bit sad about the day. But I really enjoyed it - and us getting a result was the main thing."

With the game possibly being the club's top goalscorers' last at the New Den he added: "It was nice for me personally to possibly bow out in style, but the team comes first. If it does happen to be my last game for Millwall, it was a fantastic way to sign off."
