Iffy Onuora believes Lincoln's strong finish to the season may persuade manager Peter Jackson to extend the deals of some of his players. The Imps are set for a mid-table finish this season after an impressive run of three successive victories - the last coming thanks to a 2-1 win at Morecambe on Saturday.
Several players will be hopeful of new deals next season, with the contracts of Alan Marriott, Scott Kerr, Adie Moses and Jamie Forrester all set to expire at the end of the campaign.
Onuora told the Lincolnshire echo: "Decisions haven't been made, that's the whole point of having a chat with Peter.
"We're going to sit down and discuss where we stand for next season. Apart from bits and pieces over the phone, we've not had much chance to do that.
"With us finishing strongly, there are only ever going to be good signs and good omens, individually and collectively. Anyone who plays, with us finishing strongly, is doing themselves no harm at all."
