Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws believes the highlight of his season so far has been the unwavering support from Owls fans.Laws' side will secure their Championship status with victory over Norwich on the final day after clinching a crucial win at relegation rivals Leicester on Saturday.
Laws said: "Although there were just over 3,000 of our supporters they outsang the Leicester supporters, they were so vocal and noisy.
"That's the one blessing we have had this year. The most consistent thing that has ever happened at this club is the supporters.
"They have been outstanding from the start to the finish and we want to give them something to cheer about going into the last game of the season."
Laws spared a thought for opposite number Ian Holloway and added: "I've every sympathy for Ian because he's a nice guy and I have got a lot of respect for him, but it's dog eat dog out there."
