Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips believes the side have let down management duo Paul Trollope and Lennie Lawrence in recent weeks.Defeat to Brighton on Saturday has left the club with no win in their last three games and Phillips admitted the team will go into the summer break on a disappointing note.
The 29-year-old told the club's official website: "On Saturday against Brighton we started to turn the screw just before they scored, we created numerous chances, but we didn't manage to take any.
"Over the last 13 or 14 games we haven't been good enough, and I think we've let Lennie and Trolls down."
He added: "We had a magnificent spell in the middle of the season and I think that's basically kept us up. We may have taken staying up and the quarter-finals of the FA Cup back in August but it's not a nice way to finish the season."
