QPR have appealed to the FA against the red card shown to defender Damion Stewart during Saturday's 3-0 defeat by Norwich. The Jamaican centre-half was given his marching orders just five minutes into the match at Carrow Road after referee Phil Joslin adjudged him to have committed a professional foul on City striker Ched Evans.
After the game Rangers boss Luigi De Canio said: "I didn't think Damion deserved to go.
"Referees have to make split-second decisions and it can be difficult for them, but I feel we were unlucky."
The appeal will be considered on Tuesday.
