Watford defender Danny Shittu has capped a fine season by being named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.Shittu has scored nine goals for the Hornets this season from centre-back despite missing a chunk of the campaign to represent Nigeria in the African Nations Cup.
The burly defender is the second highest scorer in Adrian Boothroyd's side but has not been able to halt their slide down the table.
The Hornets need a win at Blackpool next Sunday to confirm their place in the play-offs.
