Shrewsbury manager Paul Simpson has confirmed he will be making a number of changes to his playing squad this summer as he looks to strengthen.Simpson believes changes need to be made to his squad who he believes are currently not good enough to compete in the division.
He told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We need players who can cope in League Two. There are a lot here now who can't, we've been held by Chester and Notts County and lost to Bury, and we lost at Mansfield.
"That tells you this squad is not good enough and needs to be changed. We have to change the squad around as much as we can, and hopefully the club will give me a big enough budget to bring in the new players we need."
