Both teams will be looking to next season when Derby face Arsenal at Pride Park on Monday evening.
The home side have been preparing for life in the Championship for some time after a disastrous spell in the top flight.
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has pledged to shuffle his pack after watching the Gunners fade from title contention.
The Frenchman has said he wants to give rookie goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski a run in the first team, while other promising youngsters such as Theo Walcott and Denilson could feature from the outset.
The visitors sport a depleted midfield, with Alexander Hleb suspended for the rest of the season, while Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky are both injured.
Bacary Sagna also misses out, while question marks remain over Kolo Toure, Abou Diaby, Justin Hoyte and Johan Djourou.
Derby are still without long-term casualties Giles Barnes, Danny Mills and Claude Davis, while Marc Edworthy (rib) and David Jones (calf) are doubtful.
