Wycombe have announced that they will unveil their new manager, who will be replacing Paul Lambert, at a press conference on Thursday. The Chairboys have been without a manager since Lambert left the club last week following the play-off semi-final defeat to Stockport.
Former Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor has been tipped to succeed Lambert after reports claimed that text messages had been sent to fans announcing his appointment.
Wycombe have since denied these reports but Taylor, who quit as manager of Blue Square Premier side Stevenage earlier this month, is the favourite to be the next man into the Adams Park hotseat.
