Cov make 'final offer' for Bell

Wed 28 May, 11:15 AM

Chairman Ray Ranson says Coventry will not be improving their offer for Luton Town midfielder David Bell, who is also wanted by Norwich. The 24-year-old is due to leave Kenilworth Road during the summer following Luton's relegation to League Two.

Bell finished last season on loan at Leicester City and he looks likely to be playing Championship football again next term.

Norwich City are also in the hunt for the former Rushden winger, while Coventry have confirmed an offer has been made.

However, Sky Blues supremo Ranson insists he will not be returning with an increased bid after the initial offer was rejected.

Ranson told the Coventry Telegraph: "We have made one offer which we think is fair and that's it. That is our final offer."
