Released Colchester defender Danny Granville has held talks with Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling over a potential summer move to Brisbane Road.The former Chelsea and Leeds full-back is available on a free transfer after being told his contract with the Us will not be renewed.

"I had a good long chat with Danny and he has gone away to think things over, but hopefully we've done enough to get him," Ling told the Leyton Guardian.

"Of course, until all the i's are dotted and t's crossed we won't take anything for granted."
