Burnley striker Kyle Lafferty is desperate to leave Turf Moor, claiming he does not feel wanted by the club or Clarets boss Owen Coyle.The highly-rated Northern Ireland hitman, a long-time target for SPL champions Celtic, wants to join one of the top teams in England or Scotland.

Lafferty, 20, told the Belfast Telegraph: "I've enjoyed my time at Burnley, learnt so much at the club but I now feel it's time for me to move on.

"I need a fresh challenge at my stage of my career.

"I've given my all to Burnley but no player is going to stay where he is not wanted.

"It is imperative I make a move now as it would also help my international career."
