Leeds have prepared for another season in League One by handing new one-year contracts to striker Tomi Ameobi and goalkeeper David Lucas.Youth-team graduate Ameobi, brother of Newcastle's Shola, made his first-team debut against Portsmouth in the Carling Cup last season.
The 19-year-old finished the season on loan at Scunthorpe, where he made nine substitute appearances.
Former Preston and Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lucas, 30, joined Leeds last September. He has made five starts for the Yorkshire club.
Defender Darren Kenton has been released after joining from Leicester on a permanent basis in January.
The versatile defender, 29, initially arrived on loan and went on to make 16 appearances.
