Results are good for Rowlands

Wed 28 May, 12:45 PM

QPR skipper Martin Rowlands should be back in time for pre-season training after undergoing a scan on his ankle injury. The 29-year-old midfielder was forced to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad last week after suffering the injury while training in Portugal.

"The scan results have shown that Martin sustained a sprained ankle ligament injury," said Rangers physio Paul Hunter.

"He'll undergo treatment in the coming days, but considering the type of injury he sustained, the results from the scan are as good as we could have expected."
