Rookie Tranmere defender Danny Holmes has committed himself to the club by signing a new one-year contract with the League One outfit.Holmes was a regular in the reserves last season and spent part of the campaign on loan at Southport.
Rovers boss Ronnie Moore said: "Danny is a promising young defender who gained match experience from his spell at Southport.
"Hopefully he will use it to his advantage and push for a First Team place next season."
Meanwhile, Tranmere have also tied down teenage scholars Terry Gornell and Aaron Cresswell on professional contracts.
