Crewe reserve goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson has signed a new one-year contract with the club after spending last season on loan at Burton.The 23-year-old stopper has made just 17 first-team appearances since graduating from the club's youth academy in 2001 and is currently recovering from a knee cruciate injury sustained while on loan last season.
However, Tomlinson could now find himself as Railwaymen's the number one next term as current first-choice Ben Williams and understudy Owain fon Williams look set to leave Gresty Road after turning down new contract offers.
