Ipswich have granted Fabian Wilnis a testimonial following almost 10 years spent at Portman Road for the veteran defender.The 37-year-old has made 325 appearances for the Tractor Boys since arriving from Dutch side De Graafschap in 1999.

Wilnis has not been offered a new contract at the club after his current deal finished at the end of the season and is now mulling over pursuing a career in coaching or carrying on playing.

"Fabian has been a fantastic servant to the club and has to be one of the best signings Ipswich have made," boss Jim Magilton told the club's official website.

"Not only has he been a team-mate and player of mine, he's been a friend and a tremendous ambassador for the club.

"He fully deserves his testimonial and I'm sure it will be a success."
