In Nigeria, European clubsides have their huge fan­ base. Its such a pity that our local league is dying­ while we jeer and cheer European teams. Its also a­ shame that innocent lives have to be lost in such­ tragic waste. I am a Nigerian, residing in Edo State­ (Benin City), and I would never think of such a thing­ not to talk of doing it. We should try to encourage our­ local teams like Bendel Insurance, Warri Wolves,­ Plateau United, Bayelsa United, Sharks FC, Dolphins FC,­ etc instead of making jest of them in translating such­ into a shameful attitude.
