Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed the club have yet to receive an approach from Wigan or Celtic for manager Roberto Martinez.
Martinez has been heavily linked with former club the Latics and the vacant managerial position at Parkhead but Jenkins was quick to quash the rumours.
Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post: "It is quite natural every time something happens at Wigan that Roberto is brought into it because of his personal links. But I have had no contact with either Wigan or Celtic and nor do I expect to."
He added: "Roberto is under contract here and we are both aware of the targets this club has.
"We want to get into the Premier League. I feel we can do that with Roberto and he feels he can do it with Swansea."
Although the Swansea chairman has conceded he may lose Martinez in the distant future, he believes the Spaniard will remain committed to the cause at the Liberty Stadium over the next few years.
He told the Western Mail: "At the moment, we've got a job to do here and I believe he is fully committed to the next few years to see where he can take us.
"Although Wigan are a Premier League club, I believe that, over the next few years, ourselves as a club will hopefully equal where Wigan are and eventually we could have far more to offer Roberto.
"The way he is developing, I am sure there will be plenty of time to consider top jobs in this country and abroad as and when they become available over the next 10 years.
"The right choice may well come eventually but there will be plenty of time for that."

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha still laughing and your still looking for a 2nd choice manager hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Martinez would be an excellent choice for celtic, he perhaps is the best young manager in the country at the moment, likes to play the game as it should be played, and is a winner. Celtic would dominate scottish football under him in my opinion. With newcastle and Boro going down this season the championship its going to be a tough division to get out of next season, not that it wasnt already, the point is Martinez will struggle to get swansea up into the premiership with the resources he has availble at swansea compared to what some of the other clubs have so he may as well just go to Celtic to show his true potential.
i think Martinez would bring good football to Celtic for a change and would increase their chances in europe with the class that Swansea have had for most of the season.
from a Rangers fan
Celtic Job:
McGhee, Lambert, Mobray, Coyle, Aitken, Grant, Bilic, Moyes
Yip i would take Bilic every time mabe not the safe option but who wants the safe option?, not very exciting. Bilic is probably overrated but would be interesting to find out if he is any good.
No acually on 2nd thoughts i would take Dave Moyes but i doubt he would come with still much to do in the EPL at a big club like Everton.
I remember him back then i was there old springfield park Bent one in the top corner to equalise against Fulham old 3rd div, I would rather have him than bruce to be honest at least he will want to manage us not like Bruce whos any where 4 the money
being one of the old wigan supporters i used to watch him play for wigan when we were in the old 3rd division,he was a midfielder who played at wigan for about 5 or 6 years and then went to motherwell.there was 2 other spaniards played for wigan at the same time seba and diaz. hope that lets you know who is is marty.
never heard of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why are wigan going down market for a fizzy pop manager ,there are better class managers out there we dont need or want 2nd rate mr whelan.
No way, heheheh
