Djibril Cisse could be available on loan to Premier League clubs next season, according to Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo.
Sunderland have not taken up an option on the 27-year-old striker and he is now due back at his parent club - but they are willing to let him leave again.
"I do not have any issue with him," Anigo told La Provence.
"He has announced that the club is not big enough for him. You cannot say something and then the contrary.
"Even if he remains under contract with us, it would be fine if he played elsewhere next season."

The club aint big enough for him. You are having a laugh. Derby County is bigger than him. Sunderland who just survived didnt even want him.
