Ryan Babel will not leave Liverpool this summer, according to his agent.
The Dutch winger found first-team chances limited throughout the season and has been tipped to leave Anfield.
But his representative, Winnie Haatrecht, insists that is not the case and he hopes to hold talks soon with Reds manager Rafael Benitez.
"He is not done here yet," Haatrecht told AD Sportwereld.
"I will sit down soon with Mr Benitez to evaluate the season. We haven't found time to do that yet.
"Ryan went from Ajax to Liverpool to win trophies. So far that hasn't happened. Ryan wants to leave Liverpool as a regular starter with a trophy in his pocket."
Since arriving from Ajax for £11.5 million, Babel has scored just seven Premier League goals in 57 appearances, although the majority of those have been from the bench.

babal has to play his socks off whenever given the chance then he'll be picked. Benayoun did and everyone was saying he wasn't good enough...
P.S. Give Lucas more time he was doing better towards the end of the season and he's still young.
babel what a waste of time and money let em go even 4 free
a true red wouldnt say nething bad bout a player or manager at liverpool let get behind um and well win the league
Babel had his chance over and over again. He's Baros in disguise. USELESS
Bryjones71 Dream on! Like I said 'What Success'? Sod all really. Typical thick Scouser just like Gerrard . . . hungry for more success? What success? That's a laugh, your head is about as empty as Gerrards trophy cabinet. 20 years and counting ho, ho, ho. If Gerrard wants success he should play for a team that actually wins something.
Humbleman, you might be right but the reason Rafa had a go at Sir Alex was because he was initially talking too much negative things about Liverpool. Rafa just said those things to warn the FA and to protect Liverpool. He actually didn't mean it. Anyway, Rafa is still a good manager and he's only been at Liverpool for 5 years, but Ferguson has been there for more than 20 years and only won his first English title after 7 seasons. Rafa might achieve that faster...
Walking quiet, I'm actually a Malaysian living in Australia. Here football is called ''soccer'' and I thought mostly this site is visited by Australians, so that is why is use the word ''soccer''. Normally i use the word football.
Naren7 THE only reason Liverpool did not get closer to MU this last season was Raffa, he is a fool, had he concentrated on his job instead of having a go at Sir Alex, he may, just may have got the title.
"Soccer Team???" Naren7 certainly is not from Liverpool, the only place that foolishly calls "Football" soccer, is north america
humbleman, u calling me a 7 year old with my comment? i think your comment represents a 5 year old kid. u just respect other teams and be a true sportsman. liverpool have a strong squad and they are certainly capable of challenging for the title next season. just give benitez another season or 2 and then we will see what happens. he might do better than Sir Alex Ferguson...
For your information humbleman, the number 7 in my name represents the number that i wear for my soccer team. i'm actually 17 years old, bro...
33 Dale A. I think you will find that Liverpool did beat the mancs, twice! We can do no more. It is all the rest of you who failed to beat them.
43 Bumbleman. Oh dear, there is always one that escapes and gets onto these boards. Your 3 little sentences make no sense and only serve to demonstrate your total misunderstanding of anything remotely connected to football. Bless him.
i think they should give him anouther year
Naren7 is the number 7 indicating your age, certainly seems like it with your half wit response, or are u just another thick yob from Liverpool?
You stupid humbleman, whatever team u support isn't that good either. Liverpool are way better than the @#$% team u support
Agents are leeches.
he deserved to be at Anfield............he's a young talent.........but he didn't get enough attention from Benitez.........
Apart from Gerrard & Torres, Babel is very similar to the rest of the players, poor quality, and certainly not good enough to win the league.
Next season will be a bigger struggle, the big teams (Chelsea, Arsenal and MU dont class Liverpool as a big team) will add players, liverpool hmmm not sure maybe?
With a bit of luck Liverpool will stay above Fulham, Villa and Everton, although thats not a done thing.
lots of potential needs to buckle up and get his head down, but then i guess if we get offered more than what we paid which we should he'll go!
Babel has not proven himself good enough to become a regular starter in the performances he has made when starting games.Loses possession too much and therefore puts team on the back foot immediately. Most he will ever be at Liverpool is an impact substitute.Decent offers should be taken,on the lad.
