Blackpool have been accused of showing "a complete lack of respect for fans" after announcing rises in ticket prices for the coming season.Fans buying tickets at Bloomfield Road on matchday could find themselves paying more than 50% more than they did in 2007/08.
The basic price of adult admission for a Championship fixture last season was £17.50 but this term it rises to £28.
The club say that money raised from the scheme will go towards squad strengthening, but fans have reacted angrily.
Blackpool Supporters' Association chairman Glenn Bowley told the Blackpool Gazette: "It's take, take, take on the club's part and the fans are being given nothing in return.
"They are treating supporters with a complete lack of respect. They announced these extortionate price rises on the day everyone was on a downer because we had sold our best player (Wes Hoolahan). It's outrageous."

Bloody typical! Fans that have supported the team thru some of the darkest yrs now get kicked in the teeth by the Oystons!!
If you want to watch premiership football at less cost, then get down to Bolton. Its only £16 per game for some season tickets and only £49 per season ticket for kids.I am sure that if you caught the train the cost of tickets and travel would still be far less than at Bloomfield Road. And you get to see the likes of Arsenal Chelski Manu Liverpool etc.Best value in the northwest!
even a nights b&b does not cost £28 in blackpool. is glen bowley trying to
bankrupt the club by driving hard working fans away from football.
