Lincoln boss Peter Jackson believes there is a lot more to come from new recruit David Graham as he seeks to reignite his career. The 29-year-old striker, who was released by Gillingham in January after scoring three goals in seven league starts, has been handed a six-month contract by the Imps.
He links up with Jackson having also played under him during a loan spell at Huddersfield when he was a Sheffield Wednesday player in 2006.
Jackson said: "Dave Graham was an excellent player in this division when he was at Torquay.
"He went on to Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday but his career never really kicked on from there. He's not done anything since he was paid up by Gillingham towards the end of the season so I feel it's a waste of a footballer and a waste of a talent.
"I've told Dave this and Dave realises it as well. He's coming on a short six-month contract and he's looking forward to it. He knows he's underachieved over the past 12-15 months so is coming here to prove what a quality player he is."

Totally unreliable and a waste of space and obvious talent - and 300,000 pounds!!! - when he came to Sheffield Wednesday.
If he could pass a pub as good as he can pass a football he'd be far better off.
