Ligue 1 - Erding to join PSG

Turkey striker Mevlut Erding is poised to join Paris St-Germain from Ligue 1 rivals Sochaux after both clubs reached an agreement.

PSG general director Philippe Boindrieux is to meet Sochaux president Alexandre Lacombe on Monday to finalise the deal, PSG said on their website.

Several French clubs had made offers for the 22-year-old Erding who scored 11 league goals last season.

The transfer fee was expected to be between eight and 10 million euros, according to French media reports.
