Grimsby manager Mike Newell is not too concerned about the club`s lack of activity in the transfer market.
The Mariners return to pre-season training on Monday to begin preparations for the opening game of the new season against Cheltenham at Whaddon Road on August 8.
Newell told Town`s official website: "The players are back on Monday but there is no rush to bring players in yet.
"Sometimes it takes longer than you would like, but we won`t be pressured into signing players that we don`t really want.
"Pre-season is about getting fit and I`ve never worried about results pre-season."
