Charlton are waiting to discover the extent of goalkeeper Nicky Weaver's knee injury sustained in Saturday's friendly at Brighton.Weaver was injured in the warm-up and the club are hoping that the scan brings positive news.
Manager Alan Pardew told the club's official website: "Nicky hurt his knee in the warm-up. Unfortunately he got it caught in the ground because it was a sticky pitch and we now have to wait and see what the scan says."
Pardew was pleased with the 1-0 win at the Withdean Stadium, and praised goalscorer Chris Dickson for his contribution.
"We got out of it what we intended to get out of it, which was a workout. Our confidence levels were high and we played very well.
"He (Dickson) came on and the goalkeeper has made a good save from his first effort with one touch and then he has a one-touch shot and it is in the back of the net - that's what he is about. There is a lot more for him to learn but in terms of what he does, he did the job today and scored."
