Norwich boss Glenn Roeder is hoping the friendly clash with Premier League outfit Tottenham will provide a "healthy challenge" for his squad.Roeder admits he is eagerly anticipating pitting his wits against top-class opposition in what will be the Canaries' first home game of the pre-season but insists he will be remaining cautious about which team he fields.
"It will be an incredibly hard test for the squad," Roeder told the club's official website. "It will be a difficult game, but also a good match for us.
"The squad is starting to take shape - we have one or two injuries which means that certain players won't be able to play which is a shame so we are a little bit depleted but none the less it will be a super game to be involved in.
"It's not easy getting sides of the quality of Spurs to come and play pre-season friendlies.
"As you can see, most of the top Premier League teams are touring round the world at the moment."

As a Spurs fan thanks for a great game last night and for great Norwich fans. The stadium looked great and you put up a good show and made us pull up our socks in second half.
