Sweden international Fredrik Stoor looks set to complete his protracted move to Premier League outfit Fulham this week. The defender has been linked with the Cottagers for some time, although Wigan are also believed to have expressed an interest.
However, it would appear that the Londoners have emerged victorious in their hunt for the 24-year-old's signature, as he prepares to put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Stoor is currently on the books of Norwegian side Rosenborg, but rose to prominence in his homeland with Hammerby.
He admits that he is excited by the prospect of playing in the Premier League and cannot wait to taste life in the English top flight.
"I couldn't refuse the opportunity to play in the Premier League," Stoor told Adresseavisen.
"I have become a better player at Rosenborg, but I am hoping that the Fulham transfer will allow me to consolidate my place in the national team.
"I have experience of big matches, both with Rosenborg and the national team, but now I will get the chance to play big matches every weekend."
