Chelsea winger Florent Malouda will not be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, according to the player's agent Pierre Frelot.Malouda has been linked with a move to Serie A side Roma and La Liga giants Barcelona after a difficult first season in the Premier League.
But Frelot claims the 28-year-old is happy to remain with Chelsea, who he joined from Lyon for 20million euros last summer.
"After a meeting that was held with Peter Kenyon and Luiz Felipe Scolari, I would very much like to clarify that the latter assured us that he has always appreciated Florent," Frelot told L'Equipe.
"He counts on him. Florent is convinced that after a first season where his adaptation was interrupted by injury and changes with the coach, he will be able to fully express his talent."

malouda aint a striker..he's a winger..LOL
I agree that the jury is still out on him, but different managers get different results from players. I can't wait to see the impact Big Phil will have on the squad, Flo may well recapture his Lyon form...this season will tell.
What can we expect from Malouda this season? After last year, he's most certainly playing behind Anelka, Drogba, Shevchenko and Pizarro. So he only features as a late minute substition against Stoke, Hull & West Brom? Awfully pricey fifth option... Stamford Bridge better hope he "fully expresses his talent" this year.
