Coventry manager Iain Dowie insists that a win over Ipswich on Saturday can kickstart the club's season. The Sky Blues were swept aside at home by Crystal Palace on Boxing Day but Dowie believes that a win over a side who are yet to win on their travels will lift the whole club.
He said: "We need to remain optimistic, we now have a situation where the club has been taken over and we can move forward.
"There is no reason why we can't be positive and get some results on the board.
"Sloppy goals are letting us down at the moment and we need to stop that. It is a collective thing but we're not here to mope and moan we're here to get on with it.
"We owe Ipswich one for the 4-1 defeat we suffered to them at Portman Road earlier on this season and we need to come out the traps really flying."
