Cardiff midfielder Paul Parry has been nominated for the FA Cup Player of the Round award for his display against Hereford in the fourth round. He joins Andy Keogh and Karl Hawley of Championship rivals Wolves and Preston respectively in the nominations.

Havant and Waterlooville's Alfie Potter completes the nominees after his deflected shot resulted in Liverpool's own goal at Anfield as Havant took the lead for the second time before losing 5-2.

Welsh International Parry has made 14 appearances in total in the FA Cup and although predominately a left winger or attacking midfielder, manager Dave Jones has also used him as a striker.

The versatile attacker has recently hit a run of good form for the Bluebirds with four goals in his last eight, including a brace against West Brom making him the clubs top scorer this season with six.

The winner will receive VIP tickets to the 2008 FA Cup Final at Wembley, a silver salver and £500 of sporting equipment for a school of their choice. Parry was nominated by Ricky George and can be voted for on the FA website, open until 9am on Monday February 4.
