Everton have only the long-term injury to Leighton Baines to contend with ahead of their home clash with Tottenham on Wednesday.Baines picked up an ankle injuries three months ago and has struggled ever since, with the fear he may need an operation.

But the Toffees hope the injury will heal naturally so he will not have undergo an operation and face more time out of action.

The visit of Spurs leaves manager David Moyes to decide whether to recall Tony Hibbert to full-back allowing Phil Neville to return to midfield.

Joseph Yobo, Ayegbeni Yakubu and Steven Pienaar are still on African Nations Cup duty.
