Turkish side Galatasaray have already declared their interest in the player, and Isaksson has met with Eriksson to outline his intentions.

"I made it clear to Sven that I want out and that I have chosen to sign with Galatasaray", Isaksson told SPORT-Expressen.

"I have finally found a club ready to invest in me, it's my last chance and I hope that City won't try to stop me."

"It's not acceptable to spend all this time on the bench, I don't feel well."

The Swedish international joined City for £2 million from French side Rennes after featuring in the 2006 World Cup.

A fractured thumb kept him out of action for the early part of this season, and he has since seen England Under-21 international Joe Hart become Eriksson's first-choice goal-keeper.
