Brentford manager Andy Scott is hoping to have midfielder Wayne Brown available for the trip to in-form Darlington on Saturday.Brown made his debut in the midweek defeat at Accrington after signing on loan from Fulham but lasted just 23 minutes before being withdrawn with a thigh strain.
However the substitution was precautionary and Scott is hopeful that Brown will be fit to alleviate his selection problems.
Striker Nathan Elder is struggling with a knee injury and should again be confined to a brief cameo from the bench with Reuben Reid starting alongside Alan Connell.
Defender Matt Heywood is sidelined with a rib injury, midfielder Kevin O'Connor is out with a hamstring injury while striker Ross Montague is facing a month on the sidelines with a badly bruised back.
