Stoke defender Leon Cort hopes to recover from a bruised ankle in time to play in Sunday's Championship clash against QPR at Loftus Road.Cort is on the mend for the league leaders but midfielder Rory Delap is banned for the televised clash against the Rs.

Potters boss Tony Pulis may hand Paul Gallagher a start after the on-loan Blackburn frontman scored in his last two second-string run-outs, but defender Gabriel Zakuani (broken toe) and midfielder Dominic Matteo (foot) miss out.
