Sheffield Wednesday will be without Lee Bullen and Jermaine Johnson for the derby clash at Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.Club skipper Bullen tore a hamstring in last week's home win over Cardiff and will be sidelined for up to three weeks, while Johnson sits out a one-game ban under the totting-up procedure.
But Tommy Spurr is back from illness and is expected to return at full-back, with Richard Hinds continuing on the opposite flank.
Manager Brian Laws could be tempted to hand Chelsea teenager Ben Sahar a start after he stepped off the bench against Cardiff, but Deon Burton is back in the reckoning after scoring for the reserves in midweek.
Laws must also decide whether he wants to split up front two Enoch Showunmi and Marcus Tudgay, who has scored three in his last five matches.
The Owls are still without long-term absentees Akpo Sodje, Francis Jeffers, Frank Simek (all ankle), Steve Watson (hamstring) and Leon Clarke (knee).
