Emanuel set to miss Saddlers clash

Fri 29 Feb, 03:45 PM

Luton manager Mick Harford will be without left-back Lewis Emanuel as he looks for his first win in charge against in-form Walsall.Emanuel lasted just 23 minutes of the midweek draw with Millwall before he had to come off with a groin injury and will miss out.

However Sol Davis is in line to replace Emanuel after a one-match suspension although Northern Ireland international Steve Robinson will serve the second of his two-match ban after amassing 10 yellow cards.

Striker Sam Parkin is also expected to be back in the squad after missing the draw with the Lions through illness.

Darren Currie (knee), Don Hutchison (leg), Richard Langley (broken leg) and Paul Underwood remain long-term absentees while Paul Peschisolido has been ruled out for the season with an ankle injury.

The Hatters are awaiting for the Football League to ratify their takeover by the LTFC2020 consortium but are facing the prospect of a further 15-point deduction which could leave them on just 10 points.
